Phantom Trail Riders Meeting Minutes 12/04/13

OLD BUSINESS
 
 - Looked at possible pickup truck purchase, still looking for something in the $1000 - $1500 range
      NO Action at this time
 - Looking into side mounted brush mower for tractor
     Hydraulic driven
     Small enough so no counter weight is needed (3' - 4' rotary style)
     Retractable on pivot that has some kind of shear pin setup
     Lee Moyer or Byers have one that we can try to see if it will do what we want
- Governor Knowles Trail brushing work payment.
    Sue is supposed to be sending payment to John
- Caution light upon starting tractor needs to be addresses
- Look into old Mason Insurance policy and potential new policy for club members while working on trails
    Tom will look into same policy and report back with new rates

Trail Updates:
 - 45N  Needs a stop sign near Reeds Lake Rd
 - 45S  Brushing / clean up through Jim Otts and some signing remains
 - 150  Short section still has corn near Cty M
 - 119  Tree clean-up in Tom Quimby's woods, needs several signs installed
 - Trade Lake Trail:  Re-route onto Byers and signing remains

NEW BUSINESS
 
- Discussed PTR installing a sign to publicize commercial sponsors
- Commercial sponsors to be updated on website and Facebook page
- Groomer and chains on tractor so we are ready to groom on evening
